The C-130 fleet faced aging infrastructure, escalating maintenance demands, and evolving threats, necessitating rigorous engineering reviews to enhance reliability, safety, and cost-effective sustainment amid global operational pressures.
Deploying iterative Error Risk Reduction (ERR) methodologies per AFMAN 63-143, ADDX analyzed maintenance data, safety risks, and logistics elements, optimizing task intervals, defining component repair/replacement needs, and streamlining supply chains for peak efficiency and alignment with defense modernization goals.
ADDX optimized USAF maintenance labor and costs boosted fleet availability by enhancing RAM, and enabled achievement of Defense Planning Guidance objectives, fortifying mission readiness and national security. We completed analysis of 400+ maintenance tasks, recommending optimizations for 513 Warfighter-Centered Designs (WCDs), conducted new ERRs for critical components like center wing fittings and zonal inspections, and delivered business case analyses to refine buy-vs-repair strategies and budget planning.
